Feteasca Neagra 2012
Selected from a good vintage, the wine has an unique character of dry plums, black currants and cinnamon, silky on the palate, and well balanced by the round tannins and vanilla hints coming from the 18 months ageing in Romanian oak barrels. To be served alongside with lamb, pork, veal, beef dishes, it goes well even with fried chicken, at temperature of 16-18° C.
Artisan is the line dedicated to indigenous Romanian varieties specific to Dealu Mare wine region. They bear the winemaker’s fingerprint. These wines are singular or blends: Tamaioasa Romaneasca medium sweet and dry, Feteasca Alba barrique, Feteasca Neagra, White Artisan (Tamaioasa Romaneasca, Riesling, Feteasca Alba) and Red Artisan (Feteasca Neagra, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot).
